Yesterday, we gave a live demonstration of our consent management gICS® at the Medical Informatics Europe 2026 (MIE2026) conference in Genoa, Italy.
We provided an overview of our work and presented various scenarios demonstrating the benefits of using gICS® in health studies and registries. In addition to providing the necessary details on opt-in and opt-out approaches, we encouraged the audience to participate in our live demonstration. We documented consents live using the embedded mode for portable devices, determined the consent status of selected participants, and queried aggregated consent data using the standardised HL7 FHIR Consent Search API.
The presentation slides and the sample configuration used can be downloaded here.
