Successful tutorial on managing consent and revocation at the TMF

From a practical point of view, the 13 participants of the TMF tutorial on November 12, 2019, in Berlin, learned about the various challenges involved in managing consent and revocation.

Numerous questions from the participants showed that the current legal situation (GDPR, BDSG-Neu and Landeskrankenhausgesetz Berlin) still needs some clarifications and that the daily routine in dealing with consents in research institutions still requires a considerable amount of coordination with the responsible data protection officers.

In their presentation, Dana Stahl and Martin Bialke showed possible approaches to solve the problems of consent management using specific examples and explained implementation details with the help of the consent manager gICS®. The slides shown can be found here.
